Wovo is a friendship app for adults (18+). This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

Account info: email, date of birth (to confirm you're 18+), and authentication details.
Profile content: your name, pronouns, bio, photos, interests, prompts, and the communities you join.
Usage data: who you connect with, messages you send, posts you make, and basic device/app diagnostics.

How we use it

To run the app — sign you in, show your profile, match you with people who share your interests, and deliver messages.
To keep Wovo safe — automated moderation of text and images, plus review of reports.
To improve the product and fix problems.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data with service providers who help us operate (hosting, moderation, analytics, crash reporting), and when required by law or to protect people from harm.

Safety & moderation

Photos and messages are scanned by automated systems before or at the time they're shared. Content that violates our guidelines is blocked or removed, and serious violations may be reported to authorities.

Your choices

Edit or delete your profile content any time in the app.
Block or report anyone.
Delete your account permanently from Settings — this removes your data.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data, except where we must retain limited records for legal or safety reasons.
