1. Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using Wovo, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. You must provide accurate age information. Wovo may suspend or remove accounts when we reasonably believe the account holder is under 18.
3. Your account
You are responsible for your account, keeping your sign-in credentials secure, and activity performed through it. Do not impersonate another person, create deceptive accounts, sell access, or evade an enforcement action. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Community rules
You may not use Wovo to:
- Harass, threaten, stalk, shame, exploit, or encourage violence against another person.
- Attack people based on protected traits or post hateful or dehumanizing content.
- Share non-consensual intimate content, sexual exploitation, or any content involving the sexual abuse or exploitation of a minor.
- Groom, solicit, or facilitate inappropriate contact with a minor.
- Spam, scam, manipulate engagement, distribute malware, or collect data without permission.
- Promote illegal goods or services, facilitate self-harm, or create a credible safety risk.
- Bypass blocks, moderation, access controls, rate limits, or other safety systems.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of content you create. You grant Wovo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit, adapt for technical delivery, and moderate that content only as needed to operate, protect, and improve the service. This license ends when content is deleted, except for reasonable backup, legal, and safety retention.
You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your content and that it does not violate law or another person’s rights.
6. Moderation and enforcement
We may screen, limit, remove, preserve, or review content and may warn, restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts. Automated moderation can make mistakes. You may appeal through support. We may prioritize safety reports and disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect a person from serious harm.
7. Demo profiles and beta features
Fictional demonstration accounts are labeled as demo profiles and exist to show product flows. They are not presented as real available members. Beta features may change, break, or be withdrawn as we prepare the product for public release.
8. Safety in real-world interactions
Use judgment when meeting someone. Choose a public location, tell a trusted person where you are going, arrange your own transportation, and leave if something feels wrong. Wovo does not conduct a criminal background check on every member and cannot guarantee another person’s identity or conduct.
9. Intellectual property
The Wovo name, visual identity, software, and original service content are owned by Wovo or its licensors. These terms do not grant you the right to copy, reverse engineer, sell, or misuse them except as applicable law permits.
10. Account deletion and termination
You can delete your account in the app. We may restrict or terminate access for rule violations, safety reasons, legal requirements, prolonged inactivity, or discontinuation of the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.
11. Disclaimers and limits
Wovo is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted service, particular friendships, or the behavior of members. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wovo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing here limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will provide notice when required. Continued use after an effective update means you accept the revised terms. Questions and appeals can be submitted through our secure support form.
